Through a child's eyes

LCDC2 09/02/07 – Annarose Overshiner, age 7

‘I hate crossing Broadway (at Spring Valley – where we live), because it stinks, it’s sweaty, you’re in a big patch of sun and it takes forever for the cars to stop.’

‘You can tell you’re at the top of the hill on Stewart (between Providence and Garth) by the dead squirrel, or if you’re on the other side of the road just look for the brown mush.’

We rode to Katfish Katy’s to go camping on 09/01/07, it was Annarose’s first time to make the 12 mile ride on her own bike.

When we got to camp I said "Posey, we are so proud, because you just rode all the way down here on your own bike." We all clapped, then I asked "How do you feel about that?"

With a sheepish grin, she replied "My ass hurts" and burst out laughing.
